                                                        EXTREME NERF GAME

“Boom, Boom, Boom,” as I was shouting my Nerf gun at my friend and my

younger brother. We were playing a game called “Deer and Hunter”. My brother and

one of my friends were deer and another one of my friends and I were hunters. We

would shoot the deer and try to hit the deer three times with our Nerf guns. If we

triumph, then they would be dead. It was fun sneaking up at them and shooting them

from the back. Yash and my other friend Adan ran into the front yard of the house where

they can have more places to hide and less of a chance of being shot by the Nerf guns.

My friend and I started running after them. Hitting them the first time was really

easy, but the rest of the game was getting harder. My brother and my other friend hid in

a really good spot that my other friend and I didn't really suspect where they were.

“Hey Mira come here,” said Arman my friend. You go to the other side of the

backyard and front yard and I will be on this side looking for them. We ran for ten

minutes looking for them. Our feet tiptoed on the wet green grass as we were holding

the Nerf gun in our hands ready to shoot them as soon as we saw them. We had to be

really quite so when we shoot them, my brother and my other friend don't run away.

When Atman and I found them, we always chased them in the front yard and the back

yard. We would always have to take a short break because we always used to become so

breathless that we would collapse to the soft green grass and look at the blank white

clouds and the bright blue sky. Then once we got more energy in our body, we would

continue our Deer and Hunter game. Then Arman went into the garage and searched

there. He couldn't find them for the first few times in the garage, but when my other

friend laughed behind the car, Arman heard it. My brother was really mad because he

ruined their best hiding spot, and there was only a small amount of really good hiding

places. Also if they were hiding in the same place over and over again, they would easily

get found by Arman and I.

“ MIRA COME HERE. I FOUND THEM IN THE GARAGE!” yelled Arman

from across the yard “ MIRA, THEY ARE BEHIND OF THE HONDA CAR!” I

came running to the garage and stared shooting them with our Nerf guns. We played it

again until the street lights came one, the moon came on, and our mothers voices called

inside. We were always sliding in the grass and our pants and shirt got completely

covered with grass stains and dirt. We even had pieces of grass stuck to our face and

hands. Our moms would freak out when they see us get covered in grass stains and

dirt all over our pants and shirts. My friends, my brother, and I all said bye to each other

and went towards our house.

“That was the greatest game I had ever played”, Yash said. My brother and I

always head in laughingly back to our house holding the Nerf guns by our sides. We

really enjoyed those moments of playing Hunter and Deer with our friends. I wish that

summer can stay forever and we can play this game over and over again.
